RIJOUX NYC
RIJOUX is a family-born luxury fashion and jewelry house, revived by Moshe and Jaime Siberberg, in New York City in 2025.
After decades of dressing clients in Tel Aviv, Antwerp, and Panama, RIJOUX begins a new chapter in Manhattan, blending European fashion heritage with modern New York energy.
Today, RIJOUX NYC is refocused on fashion and fine jewerly- blending Judaica motifs, expressed with fresh, modern and unique design. Each piece is crafted under the personal direction of Jaime Silberberg, our new Creative Director of Jewelry.
Our Heritage
The RIJOUX story begins in the 1970s with Rachel Hanono Silberberg and her father, Morris Hanono z”l, pioneers of high-end Italian Mens wear fashion retail in Tel Aviv.
1975–1989: Antelope TLV – The Beginning
Rachel entered the fashion world with her father and three brothers – David, Jacob, and Simon – opening Antelope Men Fashion, one of the first men’s high-end boutiques in Tel Aviv’s Dizengoff district. It brought a new “European feeling” to Israeli menswear.
Our Heritage
1989–2003: de Racelli & Iconic Tel Avivian Boutiques
Rachel Hanono Silberberg together with her husband Chaim Silberberg z”l, opened a series of influential boutiques under the de Racelli name, including:
- de Racelli – Gan Ha’ir
- Gottex – Gan Ha’ir (beachwear)
- de Racelli – Kikar HaMedina
- de Racelli x Antelope – Hilton Hotel Tel Aviv
- Gianfranco Ferré de Racelli – Kikar HaMedina
The brand mix included legendary fashion houses such as Fendi, Clips, Wanda Mode, Giorgio Grati, El Vaquero, Christian Dior, Gianfranco Ferré, La Perla, and more – long before “multi-brand concept store” became a trend.
Our Heritage
2002–2008: Antwerp – Fashion & Fine Jewelry
The Silberberg family expanded to Antwerp, Belgium, creating a fashion and jewelry concept in a luxury apartment on Rubenslei straat infront of the iconic Stadspark in the heart of Antwerpen.
There, they offered La Perla lingerie, La Perla ready-to-wear, and high-end jewelry, merging European elegance with diamond-world expertise.
2008 – 2012: Panama City – The Birth of RIJOUX
In 2008, The Family Silberberg moved to Panama, Panama City and opened a two-floor, 3,000 sq. ft luxury concept store on Avenida Samuel Lewis, Plaza Obarrio – surrounded by iconic neighbors such as Studio Moda - Simoncito and Natz Mendez.
Originally planned as a Christian Dior boutique in collaboration with David Hanono, Armand Benezra, and LVMH, the project evolved into RIJOUX Panama – a high-fashion, multi-brand concept with brands such as:
3.1 Phillip Lim, René Caovilla, Dior, Carlos Miele, Blumarine, Roberto Cavalli, Moschino, and La Perla.
InterContinental & Hilton Hotels
2012–2024: Tel Aviv – Hotels & High Jewelry
RIJOUX then returned to Israel, operating luxury boutiques at the InterContinental David Hotel and later the Hilton Hotel in Tel Aviv, Israel.
The concept grew into a universe of:
- High jewelry pieces
- Scintilla Monaco a Trau Bros development featured in RIJOUX boutique stores
- Men’s fashion
- Women’s fashion
- Kids fashion
RIJOUX served international hotel guests, celebrities, and locals seeking a luxury lifestyle.
After difficult years – Covid from 2019, political protests in 2022, and the war in Israel in 2023 October 7 – hotel tourism was deeply affected. In 2024, the family made the painful decision to close the hotel boutiques in Israel.
2025 – Present: New-York New chapter
In 2025, Moshe Silberberg met Jaime Schwartz and together they chose to relaunch RIJOUX in New York City, connecting the brand’s deep heritage with a fresh, modern, NYC-centered vision for jewelry inspired with Judaica designs.
